Aim & Scope
The Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery (J Minim Invasive Surg) is the official journal of The Korean Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons (KSELS) to represent the researchers of all fields using an endoscopy or laparoscopy for the purpose of diagnosis or treatment. The aims of this journal are to contribute the scientific advances and researches of surgery exploiting an endoscopy or laparoscopy and to facilitate the exchange of information and development of research between the mutual members. The journal was launched as Daehan Naesigyeong Bokganggyeong Hakhoeji (means Journal of The Korean Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons) as biannual journal in November, 1998 (ISSN 1738-7884 from 2005). The journal was renamed as the Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery in 2011 (ISSN 2234-778X) to increase its international recognition. Now, the journal is published quarterly (15th day of March, June, September and December) each year. All of the manuscripts are peer-reviewed. All or part of this journal is indexed/tracked/covered by KoreaMed, KoMCI Web and Google Scholar. Articles published in this journal can be obtained from the official website of the journal (http://www.e-jmis.org) as abstracts and full text PDF files.
