Aim & Scope

The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association (J Korean Orthop Assoc, JKOA, pISSN: 1226-2102, eISSN: 2005-8918) is the official Korean language journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association, The Korean Bone and Joint Tumor Society, The Korean Musculoskeletal Tissue Transplantation Society, The Korean Orthopedic Ultrasound Society, Korean Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery, Korean Society of Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine for Locomotor System, Korean Orthopedic Pain Society, and Korean Orthpaedic Research Society. It had launched in 1966, and combined with the Journal of the The Korean Bone and Joint Tumor Society, The Korean Musculoskeletal Tissue Transplantation Society, The Korean Orthopedic Ultrasound Society, Korean Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery in 2015, Korean Society of Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine for Locomotor System, Korean Orthopedic Pain Society in 2016, and Korean Orthpaedic Research Society in 2017. It is published six times per year in February 28th, April 30th, June 30th, August 30th, October 30th, and December 30th. The journal covers all fields of clinical orthopedic surgery and basic research related to orthopedic surgery. All manuscripts, except review articles, should be original and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions. Articles published in this journal can be obtained from the official web site of The Korean Orthopaedic Association (http://www.jkoa.org/index.php) as contents, abstracts and full text PDF files.
