Aim & Scope
The Journal of the Korean Physical Society (JKPS) is an international journal, published every month by the Korean Physical Society(KPS). Its aim is to dig out and circulate recent and important research results in all fields of physics from all over the world as well as Korean researchers. Together with regular volumes, JKPS includes proceedings of international conferences occasionally through the peer-view process as strict as the case of regular volumes. The impact factor of JKPS is rated to be 1.204 (2007 year), which is in accord with the increasing contribution of KPS to the world physics society. The submission of the manuscript and any other inquiry concerning the Journal may be directed to the Editorial Office (editor@kps.or.kr) via the web-site. The Journal of the Korean Physical Society (JKPS) covers all fields of physics spanning from statistical physics and condensed matter physics to particle physics. The manuscript to be published in JKPS is required to hold the originality, significance, and recent completeness. The journal is composed of Full paper, Letters, and Brief sections. In addition, featured articles with outstanding results are selected by the Editorial board and introduced in the online version. For emphasis on aspect of international journal, several world-distinguished researchers join the Editorial board. High quality of papers may be express-published when it is recommended or requested.
