Aim & Scope
Perinatology (Perinatol: pISSN 2508-4887, eISSN 2508-4895) is the official journal of the Korean Society of Perinatology. The goal of the journal is to provide broad and in-depth research relating to development of perinatal period in both obstetrics and neonatology. Since 1989 the journal has been published biannually and from 1993 quarterly (March, June, September, and December) and features original research papers, case reports, and invited review articles in perinatal medicine. Obstetrics and neonatology are closely interrelated and often collaboration between these two fields is required for research projects that would ultimately enhance public health for mother and infant. For this purpose the journal covers prenatal management, high risk pregnancy, congenital anomaly, twin pregnancy, complications in pregnancy, term infant health and complications, and premature infant health and complications. The journal is distributed to members of the Korean Perinatal Society, medical school, library, and related institutes. The articles are submitted by online system and are accepted by peer review. The articles in the journal are indexed in KoreaMed, KoMCI, KoreaMed Synapse, KCI, and Google Scholar.
