Aim & Scope
The Korean Journal of Medicine (Korean J Med, KJM) is the official journal of The Korean Association of Internal Medicine, and is published bimonthly with supplements in Korean with English abstracts. Abbreviated title is Korean J Med. The aim of KJM is to contribute to the cure of diseases and to promote human health through sharing scientific information on the latest developments in internal medicine among members and researchers from other international societies. The journal publishes original articles, case reports, reviews, editorials, and specialized serial articles). Its focus covers clinical and basic research which bridges the laboratory and clinical practice in the field of internal medicine. All submissions undergo peer review by two reviewers within four weeks. Accuracy and ease of communication are aided by consulting with an experienced native English speaker on the editorial team. Access to articles is easy and convenient through key word indexing using Medical Subject Heading (MeSH) terms. Both the author and the subject index are listed in the last issue of each volume.
