Analysis of Sunglasses Wearers' Purpose of Wearing Sunglasses and Purchase Factors
선글라스 착용자의 선글라스 착용목적과 구매요소 분석

Abstract
This study is to investigate to find out the sunglasses wearing status of 101 adults (average age: 33.62 ± 9.60 years), including where they purchased sunglasses, who purchased them, the purpose of wearing them, the time they were worn per day, and their preferred designs. Only the results of those who faithfully answered the questionnaire were analyzed as they were subjects who used sunglasses more than 4 days a week in their daily lives. The average number of sunglasses owned was 1.89±0.95, and the place of purchasing sunglasses was 35.6% at an optical shop, 23.3% at a department store or outlet online mall. 71.7% were purchasing it themselves, 62.4% were wearing it less than 1 hour a day, and 25.7% responded that they were wearing it for 1 to 2 hours. 28.7% wore it for the purpose of blocking UV rays for eye health, 25.3% wore it for outdoor activities, 16.9% wore it as a fashion item, and 15.7% wore it for driving. Vision correction is an essential element of sunglasses, and optical factors such as visible light transmittance must be taken into consideration to provide personalized sunglasses.
성인 101명(평균 33.62±9.60세)을 대상으로 선글라스 구매장소, 구매자, 착용목적과 하루착용시간, 선호 디자인 등을 알아보고자 하였다. 일상에서 일주일에 4일 이상 선글라스를 사용하고 설문에 충실하게 모두 답한 결과지만 분석하였다. 선글라스 보유개수는 평균 1.89±0.95 개이며, 구매장소는 안경원 35.6%, 백화점 또는 아웃렛 온라인몰 23.3% 순이었다. 71.7%가 본인이 직접 구매하고 있었으며, 62.4%가 하루 중 1시간 미만 착용하고 있었고, 25.7%가 1~2시간 착용한다고 응답하였다. 평상시 눈 건강을 위한 자외선 차단 목적이 28.7%, 야외활동 25.3%, 패션 아이템으로 16.9%, 운전용 15.7% 순이었다. 선글라스도 시력교정이 필요하며 시감투과율 등 광학적 요소를 고려한 개인 맞춤형으로 제공될 수 있어야 한다.
