초록

실내공기질에 대한 중요성은 국민 생활수준 및 환경 현안에 대한 인식의 향상과 더불어 더욱 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 실내공기질은 시설의 유형, 실내 활동의 종류 등에 따라 차이가 크고, 상시 모니터링을 포함한 정부 및 각 지자체 차원의 관리 역시 어려운 실정으로 인해 종합적인 현황분석 및 관리방안 수립에 있어 많은 제약사항이 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 고에서는 그 간 국내 실내공기질의 관리와 개선을 위해 시행되어온 제도를 살펴보고 제시되어 왔던 문제점들을 다루고자 한다. 또한 미국, 일본 등 국외에서 시행 중인 실내공기질 관리 관련 제도 역시 함께 분석하여, 국내와의 차이점 및 개선안을 고찰하고자 하였다.
