Abstract

This study investigates the mechanical properties of jute fiber reinforced recycled eco-friendly concrete. In this study, the effects of each red clay content and recycled aggregate with the jute fiber volume fraction were investigated. However, the blast furnace slag and w/b ratio were fixed at 30% and 45%, respectively. As the jute fiber volume fraction increased, the compressive strength of the specimens increased by about 8%. Most significantly, the study showed that the splitting tensile strength ($f_{sp}$) and flexural strength ($f_r$) did not significantly alter the characteristic effects of varying ratios of the jute fiber volume fraction ($V_j$).
