Abstract

Recently, many fires broke out in the traditional markets. This was frequently resulted in concentration of deteriorated facilities that are vulnerable to fire. The goal of this study is to design a green wall that prevents fire's progress through a wall planting system. The spray header can be attached to top of the piping system in order to sprinkle water over the fire. Therefore, the study produces a wall planting system that are easily designed for maintenance. As a result of the study, the system ultimately assists to minimize the fire damages by preventing fire spreading with watering in case of a fire.
