Development of Evaluation Methodology on the Image of Construction Industry

초록

This study was conducted for the purpose of developing the evaluation method of construction industry image that can efficiently evaluate and manage the future image of the construction industry. The following are the main conclusions obtained by performing this study. Firstly, we have classified the construction industry images into 3 large groups, 8 middle groups, and 32 small groups and calculated the importance of each item by using AHP technique. Secondly, we have organized the working process of construction industry image evaluation into 5 large groups and 25 types of working contents as well as appointing Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, construction-related organizations, research institutes and academic communities as executing agencies. Thirdly, we have established a concrete methodology for efficient evaluation of construction industry image by carrying out survey targeting experts. Lastly, we have investigated the practicability of finalized evaluation method of construction industry image, the validity of image keyword, and reliability of image evaluation results to the experts in order to verify their excellence.
