This study aims to find out the influences of physical neighborhood environments on elderly's social activity and social network. For this analysis, 500 of elderly people who live in Seoul were surveyed, and 331 respondents' neighborhood physical environmnets' features were calculated. A path analysis was performed to find out the relationship between the physical environments' features and the respondets' social activity and social network. The results show that the physical environment could encourage/disencourage the social activity of the elderly people who live in the area. First, the elderly people who lives in better pedestrian environment does more exercise and visits parks and senior citizen's club more often. Second, the elderly people who lives in more roads does less exercise. Next, the results show that the social activities affect on the social networks of the elderly people. First, the use of senior welfare center and the use of senior citizen's club would encourage the number of social meetings. However, the use of parks would disencourage the number of acquaintances. Also, the use of senior citizen's club has negative effects on the number of social groups.
