Abstract

This study proceeded to apply $CO_2$ curing method to cement manufacture field, To do so, the best curing method involving $CO_2$ curing needs to be drawn for the best $CO_2$ uptake rate and compressive strength. In addition, applying this curing method to specimen with fly ash 10% and blasted furnace slag 10% as cement substitution materials, usability of admixture with $CO_2$ curing was evaluated in this study. As results, 4 hour steam curing and air curing method after 2 hour curing with 100% of $CO_2$ was the best for $CO_2$ uptake and compressive strength of specimens, and the same result was drawn from the specimens with admixture.
