Abstract
This study aims to examine correlation between lighting environment components and emotions in the residential space, analyzing effects on evaluation of emotional images quantitatively. Spaces of object were restricted to living room and bedroom in this study. And lighting environment elements are composed of the correlated color temperature, and illumination rendering approach depending on the lighting area were selected as evaluation variables. As a result of performing multiple regression equation by quantification I type based on experimental data for each word of emotional image, correlation coefficients among all evaluation items were found high, indicating strong correlation. In general, "warm" "cozy" items were analyzed to be highly affected by temperature of correlation colors. In addition, living space is mainly determined by lighting type applied on ceiling. Variables of each evaluation item were found to be diverse for each evaluation item in the bedroom space.
