Abstract
As work volume of domestic EPC contractors' overseas plant in 2015 is expected to reach 100 billion dollars, Domestic EPC companies are trying to establish work-process based engineering and management tools to be competitive. As known, procurement is crucial process of the plant projects due to its importance and impact on the performance. It is necessary to define an effective logistics process to assist optimal scheduling and cost control planning. Most EPC companies focus on functional management tools instead of process-based ones. That causes inefficient flow of managerial information among diverse disciplines. The main objective of this research is to identify the logistics processes and to suggest the efficient logistics model through analyzing available information and delphi analysis by hearing experts' opinion. The result of this study is expected to be helpful in establishing the standard logistics management system.
