Abstract

Morphological characters of Zanclus cornutus are redescribed in detail based on a single specimen (89 mm SL) collected from the coastal waters of Jeju Island, Korea. This species is characterized by a protruding mouth, a short spine in front of each eye, and the third spine of dorsal fin prolonged into a long filament.
