에너지 절감형 그린 네트워크 기술 동향

Abstract

자원 고갈로 인한 에너지 부족과 온실가스 방출량 증가에 기인한 기후변화 등의 환경문제가 인류에게 현실적인 위협으로 등장함에 따라, 이에 대한 대응으로 전세계가 IT의 역할과 가능성에 주목하고 있다. 우리나라를 포함한 구미 선진국들은 환경과 IT의 전략적 융합을 통한 그린 IT를 저탄소 녹색성장을 위한 신성장 동력으로 인식하고, 저탄소 사회로의 전환 촉진을 위하여 정부 차원의 정책을 도모하고 있다. 본고에서는 그린 IT의 전략적 추진에 있어서 그린화의 인프라 핵심 기술인 에너지 절감형 그린 네트워크 기술의 전반적인 동향을 살펴본다.
