Abstract

LTE는 2004년 11월 study item으로 시작되어 2008년 7월 현재 표준 작업의 막바지 단계에 있다. 본 기고에서는 LTE의 물리 계층 표준 중, 하향 링크 표준의 주요 특징과 요소 기술들에 대하여 FDD (Frequency Division Duplex)를 위해 정의되어 있는 FS1 (Frame Structure type 1) 위주로 설명한다.
