네트워크 코딩의 개요

Abstract

대부분의 통신 네트워크에서는 정보 전달이 라우팅(routing)에 의해 이루어진다. 라우팅은 각 노드의 입력 링크를 통해 들어오는 정보를 단순히 출력 링크로 전달하는 것이다. 네트워크 코딩 (network coding)은 네트워크의 노드에서 입력 정보의 전달 및 적절한 결합 등을 포함한다. 본고에서는 네트워크 코딩의 이론적인 배경에 대해 알아보고, 네트워크 코딩을 실제 네트워크에 적용하기 위해 필요한 요소와 네트워크 코딩이 응용되는 예에 대해 알아본다.
