Abstract
Large-scale direct shear tests were conducted in order to evaluate both the shear strength of crushed stone itself and the interface shear strength between crushed stone and geotextile. Total three types of geotextile (i.e. one woven geotextile and two nonwoven geotextiles) were used in the experimental program, considering two different values for the unit weight of crushed stone.
