수문모델링을 위한 원격탐사 적용의 최근 동향

Abstract

하천에 대한 수문학적 모델링은 사용하는 자료의 질에 따라 그 결과가 크게 영향을 받는다는 것은 이미 알고 있는 사실이다. 여러 수문관련 연구에서 문제시되고 있는 것은 적절한 정확도로서 수문과정을 양적으로 표현하기에 충분한 자료가 없다는 것이다. 대유역에서 토지이용 및 기후변화에 따른 수문학적인 영향을 규명하기 위해서는 지형, 지질, 토양, 식생, 기상에 대한 자세한 정보가 없이는 불가능하다. 원격탐사기법이 발전되면서 다양한 센서로부터 대유역에 관련된 수문정보들을 획득할 수 있게 되었다. 원격탐사 자료를 최대한 활용하기 위해서는 수문관련 연구 및 모델에 이러한 자료들을 효과적으로 접합시키는 방법을 강구해야 한다(Peck 등, 1981; Rango, 1987; Schultz, 1988; Engman과 Gurney, 199k).(중략)
