Advanced QoS Provisioning Scheme using CDMA Traffic Measurement in All-IP Networks

초록

본 논문에서는 정확한 트래픽 측정을 기반으로 하여 멀티미디어 Application에 대한 QoS를 제공할 수 있는 향상된 QoS 보장 Scheme (AQPS : Advanced QoS Provisioning Scheme)을 제안하고 이를 검증하였다. 먼저, 본 논문에서는 1xEV-DV 시스템을 기반으로 하여 해당 시스템의 QoS 요구사항을 추출하고 CDMA 트래픽 측정기술을 사용하여 이에 맞는 QoS 제공 방법을 도출하였으며, 제안한 AQPS가 기존의 1xEV-DV 네트워크 보다 네트워크 관리의 효율성이나 성능 측면에서 향상되었음을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인하였다.

In this paper, we propose an advanced QoS provisioning scheme (AQPS) that can provide satisfied QoS for multimedia applicatios based on accurate traffic measurements. We first consider the 1xEV-DV system as a target system, extract QoS requirements or the system, and then develop a corresponding QoS provisioning method using CDMA traffic measurement. The AQPS has been verified to outperform the existing system used in the current 1xEV-DV network and to efficiently manage network resources by computer simulations.
