개인 의사결정유형과 공급체인 동적특성간의 관련성에 관한 연구

A Study of The Relationship between Individual Decision Style and Supply Chain Dynamics

본 연구에서는 동태적인 공급체인을 설정하여 개인의 의사결정 유형이 공급체인에서의 채찍현상에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 설문조사, 실험, 그리고 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하고 있다. 공급체인 참여자의 의사결정 유형은 Rowe와 Boulgarides(1992)에 의해 만들어진 의사결정유형 측정목록을 통해 구분하였으며, 채찍효과는 공급체인에서의 최대주문량과 재고량을 중심으로 분석하였다. 공급체인 모델 설정시 주안점은 주문량 결정식이다. 공급체인 참여자들은 통상 고객에 대한 서비스 수준을 충족시킬 수 있으면서 동시에 재고 비용을 최소화시킬 수 있도록 적정 주문량을 결정하기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 맥주배송게임을 통해 기본 공급체인 모델을 설정하고 설정된 공급체인 모델을 바탕으로 개인의 의사결정 유형에 따른 공급체인에서의 채찍현상을 시뮬레이션하였다. 연구결과 개인 의사결정유형에 따라 전체 공급체인에서의 채찍효과가 달리 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구는 기존의 개인의 특성이 공급체인에서의 채찍효과에 영향을 미친다는 연구결과와는 대조되는 결과를 보여주고 있다. 공급체인에서의 채찍현상의 원인을 규명하는 작업에서 조직이나 시스템 관점에서의 접근과 개인 특성 위주의 접근 중에서 전자에 비중을 실어주는 연구결과라고 할 수 있다. 즉 공급체인에서의 채찍현상을 제거하기 위해서는 구조나 시스템 차원에서의 개선이 이루어져야 함을 간접적으로 시사함을 본 연구의 의의로 들 수 있다.

This study shows the effect of individual decision style on the Bullwhip effect of supply chain. There are four individual decision styles developed by Rowe and Boulgarides(1992). The analysis of the relationship between individual decision style and supply chain dynamics is focused on overshot against final consumer order rate. Multi methodologies are used to meet the goal of this study, which are survey, game and simulation. As a result of this study, the Bullwhip effect of supply chain isn't influenced by individual decision style. This study shows different result in comparision with the prior research results that individual fact affected the Bullwhip effect of supply chain, Therfore, it is important to improve supply chain infrastructure and system than the individual fact for decreasing the Bullwhip effect of supply chain.
