SOME FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR CONTRACTIVE AND EXPANSIVE MAPS

Abstract

In this paper, axed point theorems for contractive and expansive maps are established, some of which extend a few results of Das and Debata, Edelstein, Fisher, Leader, Shih and Yeh, and Jungck.
