Nonlinear Effects of Transmitted CDMA Signals over an Optical Link

광링크를 통한 CDMA 신호 전송 시 비선형 특성

Abstract

In this paper, we have measured and analyzed the third-order intermodulation distortion(IMD3) mostly appeared in a laser diode(LD) of an optical link for CDMA signals to characterize the links with an inexpensive way. We analyzed adjacent channel power ratio(ACPR) of CDMA signals as a function of FA, which negatively affects ACPR.

본 논문에서는 CDMA 신호가 광링크를 통해 전송되었을 때 생기는 비선형 특성을 CDMA signal generator 같은 고가의 장비 없이 변조되지 않은 두 개의 반송파 (two-tone)만을 이용하여 분석하고 실험치와 비교한다. CDMA 신호의 frequency assignment (FA)의 수에 따른 adjacent channel power ratio(ACPR) 변화도 분석한다.
