Abstract
The Acanthopanax genus belonging to the Araliaceae family is widely used as a traditional medicine having tonic and sedative effects. For the quality control of Acanthopanacis Cortex, lignan compound, acanthoside D, was isolated from the MeOH extract of Acanthopanax sessiliforum Seeman.
