Large Deflection of Woven Fabric under Its Own Weight Using Power Series Method

The large deflection of woven fabrics under uniformly distributed load, namely its own weight, was investigated using power series method. Since power series method is an analytical technique, as opposite to a numerical technique, solution takes the form of equation depending directly on the weight per unit length, length of fabric and bending rigidity, which are only the measured properties required to represent large deflection of the woven fabric.
