Abstract
We could produce algin-like biomaterial of polyiduronan using polyglucuronic acid C5-epimerase with polyglucuronic acid prepared by specific oxidation of primary alcohol groups of four kinds of polysaccharides(corn starch, rice starch, sweet potato starch, and cellulose).
