Abstract
A new porous carbon material "woodceramics" was developed by carbonizing wood or woody materials impregnated with thermosetting resin. Steamed board and non-steamed board were made from thinned small log of Aomori Hiba (Thujopsis dolabrata S. et. Z. var. hondae M.).
