실험실에서 배양한 어린 포자체 (최대길이 0.63 cm)를 밀도 4단계로 조절하여 경남 일광연안에 양성하고, 1996년 1월부터 7월까지 생장과 생존을 조사하였다. 서로 다른 밀도로 양성한 포자체는 저밀도에서 높은 생존율을 보였다. 실험된 4개의 밀도집단 중 3개의 저밀도 집단에서 최종적으로 생존한 개체의 수는 34
The effect of individual density on the growth and survival of Laminaria japonica was experimentally evaluated. Four density treatments of young sporophytes (0.63 cm In maximum length) grown in the laboratory were transplanted to the southeastern coast of Korea and their survivorship and growth rate were measured twice a month from January to July, 1996.
