초록

내용기반 이미지검색을 위한 기존의 색인구조들은 데이터 객체들을 대표하는 특성들이 증가함에 따라 검색시간 또는 공간요구량이 지수 함수적으로 증가하게 되는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문은 내용기반 이미지검색을 위한 기존의 색인구조들을 분석하여 새로운 색인구조가 갖추어야할 요구조건을 제시한 후, 제시된 요구조건들을 만족하는 새로운 색인구조 CIR-트리를 제안한다. 제안된 방법의 우수성을 보이기 위해 실험을 통하여 색인구조들에 관한 성능을 여러 환경에서 비교하고 분석한다. 이를 통해 제안된 CIR-트리가 기존의 색인구조들에 비해 고차원에 적합하면서 검색시간과 저장공간면에서 성능이 우수함을 보인다.
