Detection of residual antibiotic and sulfonamide agents in emergency slaughtered cattle

Abstract
This survey was carried out to detect the residual antibiotics and sulfonamides in emergency slaughtered cattle(n=265) from slaughter houses in Kyeonggi province by EEC 4-plates method, Charm II and HPLC. The results were summarized as follows ; 1. Antimicrobial substances were detected from 24 samples(9.1%) by EEC 4-plates method and the detection ratio were highest in summer(13.8%). 2.
