An error control scheme based on selective retransmission for transmission control real-time communication

전송제어 실시간 통신에서의 선택적 재전송에 의한 오류제어 기법

Abstract

본 논문은 TDMA 구현 이더네트를 중심으로 전송제어 기반 실시간 통신에서의 저렴하고 효율적인 오류제어 기법을 제안하고 성능을 평가한다. 이 기법은 선택적 재전송 기법에 기반하고 있으며 실시간 통신 시스템의 대역폭 할당 기법이 불가피하게 생성하는 여분의 전송가용 시간을 이용하여 오류가 발생한 메시지를 재전송하고 재전송 요청 메시지를 위해서만 추가적인 대역폭을 필요로 한다. SMPL을 이용한 모의실험 결과는 제안된 기법이 주어진 스트림 집합에 대해 종료시한 만족도를 최대 28% 향상시킬수 있으며 프레임 시간이 작을수록 종료시한 만족도가 증가함을 보이고 있다. 이 기법에 의해 추가적인 하드웨어 도움없이 저비용으로 메시지 오류제어에 의한 종료시한 만족도를 개선할 수 있다.
