A Study on ABR Traffic Control using a Signalling Channel in an ATM Network

Abstract

본 논문에서는 신호 채널에 의한 ABR 트래픽 제어 메카니즘을 제시하고, ABR 트 래픽을 제어하기 위한 Bandwidth Request 메시지와 Bandwidth Allocated 메시지를 고안하 였다. 또한 새로운 트래픽 파라메터 협상 메시지 흐름을 고안 하였으며, 성능 분석을 통하여 기존 방식에 비하여 호 처리시간과 가용 대역폭 이용 측면에서 본 논문에서 제안한 방안이 월등히 우수함을 알 수 있었다.
