The Characteristics and Management of Documents in the Digital Libraries

디지털도서관의 문헌 특성 및 관리

This paper is the result of study on what Is the characteristics of digital document, how to manage it, and what Is the consideration to manage it, compared to the conventional paper document. For the document structuring, I also explain the relationship between SGML and HyTime, and , at the same time, suggest in detail the practical examples of HyTime application.

디지털도서관에 관한 연구가 진행됨에 따라 문헌의 디지털화에 관한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 본 논문은 전통적인 인쇄문헌에 비해 디지털 문헌의 특성은 무엇이고, 디지털 문헌을 어떻게 관리하고, 디지털 문헌을 관리할 때 어떤 점을 고려하여야 할 것인가에 관한 연구 결과이다. 문헌의 디지털화에 따른 문헌 구조화를 위하여 SGML과 HyTime의 관계를 설명하고, 구체적으로 HyTime의 적용 예를 제시하였다.
