Abstract
In humans and many animal models with chronic progressive renal diseases, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor markedly attenuates the progression of nephropathy. Several studies have reported augmented gene expression and redistribution of renal renin in partial nephrectomized rats.
