Abstract
The bacterial strain P2 degrading polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) was isolated from the soil around the Shinchun stream in Taegu after enrichment culture in a media containing biphenyl as the sole carbon source. The isolate was identified as a strain of Pseudomonas sp. based on its morphological and physiological characteristics.
