False Twist Tension and False Twist Angle in the Cone Drum Twister

Abstract

The effects of heater temperature, linear density, draw ratio, projected wrapping angle, and conical angle on the false twisting tension and the yam helix angle of the texturing yams In the cone durm twister were studied experimentally in this paper. It was shown that heater temperature, linear density, draw ratio, projected wrapping angle, and conical angle were very important factors to the false twist tension and false twist angle of the yarns in the cone drum texturing device.
