Abstract

A cytotoxic compound, MCHS-4, was isolated from the mycelium of Streptomyces T70 and identified as manumycin A. The compound showed significant cytotoxicity against human gastric carcinoma cell line, SNU-1 and human hepatocellular cell line, SNU-354.
