Abstract
The properties of the foam dye bath assisted with solvent were investigated by determining the blow ratio, half drainage time, penetration time, solubility of dye and K/S value for the polyester non-woven fabrics. The blow ratio was not influenced with the increase of mixing head velocities, but the half drainage time increased with them. The blow ratio, haw drainage time and the penetration time were not Breathy influenced by the iso-propyl alcohol that was added in the foam solution. However, the solubility of the dye was influenced by the ism-propyl alcohol. The dyeability of polyester non-woven fabric in the foam dyeing was greatly enhanced by adding the iso-propyl alcohol.
