Abstract
This study was designed to clarify the action of cyclic nucleotides, cyclic AMP and cyclic GMP, on phorbol 12,13-dibutyrate (PDBu)-induced contraction in rings isolated from rabbit carotid artery. Arterial rings, 2 mm in width, were myographied isometrically in an isolated organ bath.
