The analysis of impurities in rare earth oxide for fluorescent substance by ICP-MS

Abstract
A survey was made on detection limit, reproducibility, matrix effect, linear dynamic range and the memory effect of yttrium and europium in order to analyze rare earth elements which exist as impurities in the rare earth oxide which is raw materials of fluorescent substance. When analysing a certain amount of thulium quantitatively using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, it was found that the analysis was interfered with
형광체의 원료로 사용되고 있는 희토 산화물 중 불순물로 존재하는 희토류 원소를 분석하기 위하여 검출한계, 재현성, matrix effect, linear dynamic range 및 yttrium과 europium의 memory effect를 조사하였다. 유도결합 플라즈마 질량분석법(ICP-MS)에 의해 thulium의 정량분석시 europium이 존재함으로써 플라즈마 내에 polyatomic ion인
