A Study on Information Retrieval in CD-ROM Database

CD-ROM 데이터베이스의 정보검색(情報檢索) 연구

This is a practical study on acquisition and efficiently use of CD-ROM databases of diverse subject areas which in recent has rapidly increased in quantity. This study was concentrated on the proposition of production CD-ROM database and intended to give effective ideas of its design. I analysed and compared several CD-ROM databases in aspects of their menu configuration and information retrieval technics, so that may present a rational norm.

이 논문은 최근에 급속히 증가하고 있는 CD-ROM 데이터베이스의 수집과 그 효율적인 이용에 대한 방안의 연구로, 주로 각종 CD-ROM 데이터베이스의 제작방향(製作方向) 및 수집방법에 관한 아이디어를 제공하고, CD-ROM 데이터베이스의 검색(檢索) 효율성(效率性)을 높이기 위한 메뉴 화면구성 및 그 구체적인 정보검색 기법을 비교 분석해 본 것이다. 본 논문은 그러한 분석 결과를 통하여 이상적인 메뉴 화면의 제안과 표준(標準) 정보검색(情報檢索) 기술이 무엇인가를 규명하여 하나의 표준(標準)이 될 수 있는 기법을 제시하고자 시도하였다.
