A Study on Self-Unloading System

Self-Unloading System에 대한 소고

The aim of this paper is the introduction and investigation of the characteristics and outline of self-unloading systems from the bulk handling point of view. Some years of experiences from the building of self-unloading bulk carriers are described hereunder.

북미의 오대호 연안을 중심으로 한 inland service에서 부터 deep sea service에 까지 발전되어 증가추세에 있는 Self-Unloading bulk carrier와 관련하여, bulk cargo handling 측면에서, 다양한 bulk cargo material을 shore side 하역 설비의 지원없이 신속하게 discharge 할 수 있도록 설계되어 있는 self-unloading system의 특성 및 개요에 대하여, 그간 수차례에 걸쳐 설계 및 건조한 경험을 바탕으로 소개 및 고찰해 보고자 하였다.
