Preparation of Conducting Poly(vinyl chloride) /poly(pyrrole) Composites by Electrochemical Synthesis and Their Electrical Properties

초록

Electrically conducting poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC)/poly(pyrrole) (PPy) composite films were prepared by electrochemical synthesis of pyrrole in an insulating PVC matrix under various polymerization conditions and their electrical properties were studied. The conductivity of PVC/PPy composite films peeled off from platinum electrode lie in the range of 10-1~10-2S/cm. depending on the polymerization condition, the conductivity of composite films has increased with the increase of concentration of pyrrole and electrolyte. Also the composite has shown the highest conductivity when the applied potential during polymerization was 1.8V and the polymerization temperature was 3$0^{\circ}C$.
