The styles of the trial garments were semitight by referring the preferred clothing style for middle aged woman in the questionnaire survey. They were semitight jacket, box style jacket, semitight skirt and pleats skirt. The trial garments were made of middle thick cotton with lining all over the jacket and shoulder pad of 15mm thickness. The testing subject were 20 middle aged women and 5 women belong to each size. Each subject's body measurements were taken so that the most appropriate size and Drop can be found. But each subject tried all three different Drops' garment to compare the fitness, so one subject tried 12 garments. The fitness and satisfaction were judged by two ways. One was wearer's self subjective judge, and the other was observer's objective Judge. The result showed clearly that for middle aged women, more diverse sizing system is required because their figure type is much more diverse than other aged group. So more diverse sizing system which includes the concept of Drop is suggested for better fitness of middle aged women's clothing.
