초록

The purpose of the stuffily was: 1) to determine the comfort sensations of the human subjects wearing different sportswear ensembles with T-shirt after exercise and 2) to determine the comfort properties of different kinds of T-shirts by comparing physical properties including thermal insulation and wickability. T-shirts used in this study were made of 100% cotton, 50% polyester/50% cotton, 100% polypropylene, and Coolmaxe(100% polyester made by Dupont). Based on the test results following conclusions could be made : 1. Thermal resistance. wickability. and amount of sweat absorbed by the sportswear fabrics were the factors affecting the comfort properties of sportswear. 2. The comfort properties of sportswear increased with increasing wickability and decreasing thermal resistance and amount of sweat absorbed by the sportswear fabrics. In conclusion, sportswear fabrics made of Coolmaxe and polyester/cotton were suitable to use for medium to heavy exercise due to higher wickability and lower thermal resistance and amount of sweat absorbed by the sportswear fabrics than the others.
