Drug-induced pemphigus has been well recognized in recent years. It has been generally believed to be a benign disease responding to withdrawal of the drug or to treatment with a short course of oral corticosteroids. We report herein two cases of drug-induced pemphigus foliaceus. The patients had erosive and eczematoid patches chiefly on anterior chest abdomen, flank and back The diagnosis of the two patients were confirmed by immunofluorescence studies. In these two patients, one was recognized as a penicillamine-induced pemphigus foliaceus, and the other was recognized as a rifampicin-induced pemphigus foliaceus.
