젤방사/열연신 조건이 초고분자량 폴리에틸렌 섬유의 물리적 성질에 미치는 영향
Abstract
Gel fivers of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene were prepared by using gel-spinning element and stretched to orient to the fiber axis by hot drawing. Their physical properties were measured and discussed with the spinning and drawing conditions. The values of the breaking stress and tensile modulus of the gel fiber drawn to draw ratio of 75 were 3.4 GPa and 105 GPa, respectively. Tensile properties were increasing draw ratio and/or spinning temperature. The melting temperatures and heat of fusions of gel fibers were decreased initially and then increased with increasing draw ratio. The polymer concentration and L/D ratio of die did not affect appreciably the physical properties of gel fibers.
