오배자의 항균 성분

Two acardic acids showing antimicrobial activity against Propionibacterium acnes ATCC 6919, were isolated from Galla Rhois. They were identified as 6-pentadec-8-enyl salicylic acid and 6-pentadecyl aslicylic acid on the base of spectroscopic evidence.

본 연구는 여드름의 원인균인 Propionibacterium acnes ATCC 6919에 대해 항균력을 보이는 오배자의 유효 성분을 규명하고자 수행되었다. 오배자의 95%에탄올 추출물, 노르말헥산 추출물, 노르말헥산 추출물 중 검화성 물질의 이 균에 대한 최소 생육 저지 농도는 각각 20${\mu}\ell$/ml, 10${\mu}\ell$/ml, 5${\mu}\ell$/ml이었다. 그 검화성 물질로부터 2종의 항균 성분을 분리하였으며 이들은 13C-NMR, 1H-NMR, MS, IR, UV 스펙트라에 근거하여 각각 6-pentadec-8-enyl salicylic acid과 6-pentadecyl salicylic acid로 동정되었다. 이들은 공히 1${\mu}\ell$/ml 이하의 농도에서 P. acnes 의 생육을 저지하였다.
