초록

A mixture of trifluoroacetic acid(TFA) and methylene Chloride(MC) has been found to be an excellent solvent for cellulose. Lyotropic cellulose mesophase was obtained in 20% (w/v) solution of cellulose in this solvent system. A 16 % cellulose solution was spun into three different coagulants comprising methanol, acetone, and acetylacetone. Cellulosic filaments were successfully produced using a laboratory scale dry-jet wet spinning machine. The fibers spun had high tenacity and modulus of 3.59 and 289.1g(d, respectively. The mechanical properties of the fibers are shown to be improved comparing with those of viscose rayon.
